The Brief

Hispano Card provided an affordable insurance service to Latin-American immigrants on the United States of America, some of their included services: medical, legal, funeral, etc. The users acquire a prepaid membership card and register it on their account, either on the website or the mobile apps, to access any of the services.

The project was built from the ground up by a team of 3 programmers including myself and an artist, and consisted of a frontend website, a management website, an iOS app and an android app.

So, I this was my role:

I had an active participation on the development of both the frontend and backend websites developed using .Net framework and C# as well as the MySQL database.

The mobile API and both native apps programmed in Objective C and Java, iOS and Android respectively, were entirely coded by me.

Some of the modules I worked on were:

·       Database design.

·       CRUD services and interfaces for the website and both apps.

·       User Authentication.

·       Membership verification.

·       User role and permissions system.

·       Internal device storage using Core Data for iOS and SqLite for Android.

·       Mobile API.

·       Http request module.

·       Custom navigation drawer implementation on both mobile applications.

·       Version management using SVN.
